Agnes And Thomas Wayne

I was only about 7 when nana died so I don't really remember much about her. However, I do
remember going to see her in her flat which she shared with the late Grandad Wayne (pictured). I
know she was a diabetic and was very poorly when she passed. I always remember her when I see Oxtail
Soup as this is what she always ate. I also remember the Christmas stockings you get as nana always
bought us one every year and gave us all a pound each, we thought this was a lot of money back then
hehe. I am sad I never really got to know nana but I am grateful for the memories that I do keep.

I also know nana was originally from Scotland, and my dad is one of five children. Barbra was the
only daughter and she misses nana so much. xxx

Grandad died in 2001 when I was 11. He was found in his flat in his arm chair by his stepson Sam.
The telly was on and had been playing to itself for as long as grandad had been gone. That memory
will be with me always, knowing he was alone and probably cold when he died. Sam hadn't seen
grandad for a few days and was getting no answer when he called round so decided to kick the door
in. That's when he found grandad.

RIP nana and Grandad Wayne, maybe one day Ill get tov meet you again and build up that relationship
we never had here xXx
